We had Lucie's 3 month pictures taken a couple weeks ago and they turned out so great! We love them and were happy to get one great one of big sister Tillie as well. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Introducing Lucie Renee (a little late)

Lucie was born June 3, 2011 at 3:06 am 19 inches and 6 pounds 7 ounces. She has a good amount of hair and is a great baby. Looking all cute at home!

Our beautiful family. It is so much fun having 2 girls! We have our hands full, but they are full of joy!

Tillie also thought that her and Daddy should bring their lawn chairs into the house. Great idea!

Go Tillie go! Just watch out! She did hit the house and garage at Grandma and Grandpa Cahalans! She has plenty of time to learn!

Blue Bird and Hair Clips

Tillie is able to do pigtails in her hair finally! It is so cute but makes her look so much older! She got a blue bird when we were at Home Depot the other day. We asked her what she was going to name it and she said "Blue Bird".

Tillie is very into doing hair clips. I think when we were done here she had at least 30 in my hair. It looked beautiful. Daddy is even a good sport and lets her do his hair.

We only have 4 weeks until the new baby is here. Tillie says she wants a blue baby but wants a sister. Hmmm.....we will see what we are blessed with. She was excited because she got to pick out a paci for the new baby!

Tillie officially has a big girl bed! She loves it too. She is really good about staying in it at nap time and was for bedtime for about 2 weeks. She still does great at nap time and now is able to come in Mommy and Daddys room at night. She helped Daddy and Grandpa put it together and Grandma made her a new quilt for her bed. She never had a bed quilt for her crib. Of course there had to be blue in her quilt! She requested a blue bed or a Lightening McQueen bed but she got white.

Tillie had told us for months that she wanted an Elmo cake. That is what I made! Then a couple days before she changed her mind and wanted and Abby cake. We compromised and had Abby balloons and an Elmo cake! Grandma and Grandpa made the trip and brought yummy Bertsells ice cream and hot fudge!

Tillie had her birthday party the day before the actual birthday. She had a lot of fun! She loves anything blue as you can tell by her choice of balloons! On her birthday we met some friends at the Playstation and they had a great time! Mommy even climbed thru the tunnels and went down slides and in the ball pit with her! We can't believe she is 2 already.

Rocking Horse

This used to be Andrew's rocking horse that his Uncle David built for him in 1984. Now Tillie gets to enjoy it.

Tillie is loving the snow so much this year! She even will be walking and fall face first in it and just laugh! Here is a video of her sledding for the first time this year down the hill in our front yard. It is the perfect hill for her!

Tillie Update!

Tillie is ready for Christmas! She love the tree and the ornaments but like to throw them too! Now she is good about just taking them off and putting them back on. It is just a game.

Tillie loves to take pictures on her own. She is very independent and likes to even dress herself sometimes. What a big girl she is. I can't believe it!

Tillie loves babies! Oh babies! Her favorite is her water baby and the one that uses a paci too! Daddy took this picture and she has one pony tail in and one out; hmmm.......

We hope you are all ready for Christmas! I will follow with some pictures of Tillie playing in the snow! She loves the snow so much!!!!

Tillie went to the Playstation for a birthday party! She had so much fun. It was her first time there and as you can see you she had a blast!

Tillie was a cow for Halloween and we were lucky to get her in her costume! She had fun trick or treating and never wanted to put her candy in her bag. She wanted to hold it all.

Little Tillie Time Update!

We went to the duck pond at a local park the other day. Tillie really likes the ducks this year. They also had a cow and he was mooing and she didn't like that so much. She actually cried! Poor girl.

Say cheese! Grandpa let Tillie play with is camera! Oh Grandpa. Tillie actually took some good pictures. She now likes to play with Mommy and Daddy's camera thank to this. Oh well, she likes it and it entertains her well. I like this one because she is taking an upclose picture of herself! Say cheese!

If we all could look so cute sporting a swimsuit and sneakers! Tillie likes to do the splits. It is really funny because then she falls over and laughs at herself. She is a huge ham! She laughs at a lot lately.

We redid our bathroom surround and so Tillie got to take baths in the sink. She really liked that. This shows how long her hair is getting. She never wanted to get out of the sink.

Tillie has great fine motor skills and like to build towers. Daddy helped some on this one and Tillie was topping it off. Good team work!

Tillie and I met our friends Brittany and Avery at Noelridge park today and played on the playground and fed the geese and ducks. It was fun and the geese get really close!

July has been great!

Dancing at a Ragbrai party with Daddy! Tillie had so much fun. It was a big party at a town outside of Mason City. Daddy did 1 1/2 days of the riding and had fun but I think he was quite sore.

I am sure this will not be the last time that Olie gets dressed up by Tillie. She decided that the needed some pretty accessories on. He was good sport!

4th of July weekend in Chicago

On the 4th of July, Tillie got up bright and early at 5:30! I think she was excited to get going. We walked around downtown Chicago and had a doughnut at Dunkin Doughnuts with festive sprinkles on it. Then we walked to the lake and Tillie took a nap on the way and then woke up after we were there for some time she woke up and got to dip her feet in a lake for the first time. She didn't like it at first, but then loved it and didn't want to leave. She like the sand a lot too. Later on we went to Ryan and Martha's for a BBQ and Tillie loved Martha's cat and he tollerated her very well. No tail pulling! Tillie like Uncle Benge a lot that night. It was a long and fun day!

Tillie, Mommy and Daddy went to Chicago this weekend and had a great time! We helped Uncle Benge move into his apartment on Saturday morning, went to the Brookfield Zoo in the afternoon and then checked into the hotel and walked to find a place to eat startin at 7:15 and didn't get to eat until 9:30 or so. A long and fun day. Tillie loved the zoo especially the underwater animals.
